Using the service
By using My North Pole Portal, you agree to these terms and applicable law. An adult must create and manage a family account, authorize child access, and make purchases. Keep account credentials private and use the device-linking tools for children and invitations for other authorized adults.
The service supports family holiday entertainment. It does not observe children, independently evaluate their behavior, or communicate with a physical toy. A parent controls the experience. Read our privacy policy for information about family data and AI-assisted content.
An independent holiday experience
My North Pole Portal is an independent holiday app by JOD Solutions LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any holiday toy or character brand.
My North Pole Portal is not an official app of The Elf on the Shelf or The Lumistella Company. The Elf on the Shelf is a trademark of CCA and B, LLC, doing business as The Lumistella Company. References here identify the separate brand only; no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement is implied.
Families may use a familiar elf name and select an illustration to represent their holiday companion. Our portrait library does not authenticate or register a manufacturer's doll, and no specific toy brand or new doll purchase is required.
Intellectual property and your content
The service's software, branding and other materials are owned by JOD Solutions LLC or their respective rights holders, or used under applicable licenses, to the extent protected by law. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of a family's physical toys or another company's characters.
Only provide text, photographs, recordings and other material you have the rights and permissions to use for the requested feature. Owning a physical toy does not itself grant rights to copy its protected artwork or character design. Do not request copies of branded characters, logos, books, music or another person's voice without the necessary authorization.
You retain any rights you hold in content you provide. You authorize us to process, store and display it as needed to operate the features and sharing choices you request, as described in the privacy policy. Some outputs use generative AI; we do not promise that an output is unique or eligible for exclusive copyright protection.
Family messages and stories
Daily letters may be delivered automatically, with optional parent preview reminders. Personalized stories require an adult to review and choose to share them with a child. Generated content can contain mistakes; use accurate family details and review content before further sharing. Adult review does not grant rights to third-party material.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material; impersonate another person or brand; access another family's information; bypass parent controls; or disrupt the service. We may restrict access to content or accounts that violate these terms or threaten other users' safety.
Purchases and availability
The checkout for each available product shows its price, access period and included features before purchase. App-store purchases are also subject to that store's terms and refund process. Contact support with an order reference if a purchase or restore does not appear in your family account. Nothing here limits refund or other consumer rights that apply by law.
Setup and new content require an internet connection. Availability and notification delivery depend on supported devices, connectivity, device settings and service availability. We cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every notification will arrive.
Questions or rights concerns
Contact support@mynorthpoleportal.com about these terms, an account issue or an intellectual-property concern. For a rights concern, identify the material, its page or in-app location, the right you believe is affected and how we can contact you.
Applicable laws govern your rights and obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
